Whilst New Hope is our major Compassionate Ministry emphasis there are other efforts being made, both by congregation members in other community groups, their personal lives, and at the church building.
During the winter months we run a night shelter in conjunction with 7 other churches around Manchester. Between us we provide food and overnight accommodation for up to 12 homeless aslyum seekers. This project is over seen by The Boaz Trust who provide a wider range of extra support in this area.
On Christmas Day we provide a meal for the homeless, lonely, or anyone who does not have a positive option for the day. 70-100 people gather for a Carol Service followed by a full turkey dinner and desserts with quizes and other entertainment provided.
